New Factory Commissioned: MIMO Technology Breaks Through Capacity Bottlenecks, Embarks on A New Journey of High-Quality Development

Recently, the construction of the new production base of Jiangsu MIMO Metal Technology Co., Ltd. (MIMO Technology) has reached a crucial milestone. The factory gate and main structures of standardized production workshops have been largely completed, with all civil construction, internal spatial planning, supporting pipe networks and utility facilities fully finished. After continuous intensive work by the technical team, all core production equipment and cutting-edge R&D testing facilities have been delivered, installed and jointly commissioned, marking the official launch of large-scale operation. The commissioning of the new plant will rapidly unlock large-scale core production capacity and establish a high-level innovation and R&D platform, effectively resolving long-standing constraints including saturated production capacity and limited factory space. It lays a solid hardware foundation for the company to deepen its presence in the Metal Injection Molding (MIM) industry and expand its market share of high-end precision components.

Such capacity ceilings have gradually restricted the company’s order-taking capacity and technological iteration speed, making capacity expansion and the construction of a specialized integrated R&D and manufacturing base an urgent priority.

The planning and design of the new factory are fully aligned with MIMO Technology’s medium- and long-term strategic layout. Functional zones are scientifically partitioned to cover the full MIM process chain, including feedstock preparation, injection molding, debinding & sintering, and precision post-processing. Production workshops are fully optimized for automated assembly line deployment, complete with dedicated logistics passages, storage areas and dust-free constant-temperature workshops. Compared with the old facility, the new plant delivers all-round upgrades in space utilization, production circulation efficiency and clean manufacturing standards. Since equipment delivery, cross-departmental teams spanning production, process engineering, R&D and equipment management have collaborated closely to finish installation and commissioning of injection molding machines, sintering furnaces, precision shaping equipment, automated manipulators and other production gear line by line. Process parameters have been repeatedly calibrated and linkage operation logics optimized to guarantee stable line performance and consistent product quality. Meanwhile, R&D facilities including metallographic analysis labs, material performance testing rooms and new product pilot centers have been fully equipped with sophisticated testing instruments such as high-end microscopes, mechanical property testers and composition analyzers, forming a closed-loop innovation ecosystem covering material formula development, sample prototyping, performance verification and mass production.

The new factory is now in the operational ramp-up phase, with all trial production lines running smoothly. Small-batch trial products meet all clients’ technical specifications, while equipment utilization rate and yield rate keep improving, laying solid groundwork for a rapid ramp-up to full mass production. Full capacity release will fundamentally ease the company’s long-standing capacity crunch, distribute scheduling pressure and shorten delivery cycles, enabling MIMO Technology to readily accept large-volume long-term framework orders and greatly strengthen its market order absorption capacity and supply chain risk resilience. In addition, the standalone R&D test area eliminates mutual interference between new product development and mass production workshops. The R&D team can concentrate on breakthrough research covering novel alloy powder formulations, molding processes for complex special-shaped structural parts and lightweight cutting-edge MIM technologies, accelerating the launch of high-end customized products and continuously reinforcing the company’s technological moat in high-end MIM components.
